drawovision
following the long tradition of this blog to write about the eurovision song contest, i will write about it again,but in an art-way: twitter gave birth to #drawovision last night.
a live speed painting thing artists at twitter do during the eurovision song contest, posting the artwork in real time. last year @hellomizk visualized all the contestants in watercolors.
so this year she also painted the shit out of her brush and here is the awesome result:

THIS BAND IS AMAZING!
i saw them the first time two years ago opening for some other bands in hamburg at the KNUST and they blew my mind. not only the music is beautiful and powerful and intelligent, the stage concept is just brilliant. for every show they ask locals to be part of the stage programme as painter and human canvas to perform bodypainting during the show.
two years ago i was part of that show, beeing the painter. i got dressed up, got a mask and got to paint my friend devi right on stage. that was a great experience.

this month the red paintings will return to hamburg and i will be painting with them again. i am so happy about that and pretty excited.
